Edgar Allen Poe once said that man is obsessed with self-torture...maybe I'm a prime case of that! Not only am I editing, I am also working on my recent manuscript, and I don't know what possessed me but I'm going to do a writing prompt challenge over the course of 164 days...'Crazy am I' you ask. My answer 'possibly!' So anyway just an update since I saw my other journal was OLD, and possibly senile...I finished one prompt tonight, now only 363 left to go. I'm still paranoid about sharing my work on the world wide web so it feels odd to tell people this when they wont see the outcomes. I should upload writing to DA, but I'm more then content

Baby Steps

Hello,
I do have to say I am quiet nervous, for I am actually taking steps on getting published.My mother and I were seriously discussing my options and we have gone with maybe starting with self publishing using ebooks. The reason why is because I highly doubt I will get published in the next five years using regular publishing, while self-publishing 100 copies of my book in paperback would cost about $1140.00, so it's the cheapest and fastest way to get my book out there. I have some mixed feelings on it but am overall apprehensive about it. My mother wants to publish a book that a wrote a few years ago that I would like to keep a while,
